The reference 16000 with a smooth bezel is undoubtedly the rarest among the classic acrylic crystal Datejust references, compared to the 16014 (fluted bezel) and 16013 (engine-turned bezel). Few examples appear on the market, and they are highly sought after by collectors. This particular piece is even more desirable as it comes complete with its original warranty and invoice. Additionally, it includes two dials (both period-correct and original). One of them, the one currently fitted, is an extremely rare bronze/brown version—virtually impossible to find and stunning on the wrist! The overall condition of this Datejust 16000 is truly exceptional. The dial is flawless, with no defects, scratches, or discoloration. The tritium on the hour markers remains intact without any deterioration and perfectly matches the hands. The case and bracelet showed signs of wear, so I had them professionally polished, and they now appear as new. The Jubilee bracelet has not been stretched and is still in excellent condition. The movement has just been serviced and runs perfectly. The watch comes complete with its original warranty, original sales invoice, wallet, and booklets.
