This example is without a doubt one of the best-preserved Tudor Montecarlo reference 7159 models currently on the market.
Its condition is exceptional: the case, in my opinion, has never been polished and still retains its original finishes and chamfers; the bezel shows some marks and scratches but appears completely untouched. The bracelet is in excellent condition, still tight with no stretch. The dial is immaculate, free of scratches, stains, or discoloration — simply stunning. The movement runs perfectly.
In addition to its outstanding preservation, the watch is fully period-correct for its year of production: T Swiss Made T dial with tritium indexes and hands, first-series bezel, caseback marked I.72, bracelet 7836 4/70 with the extremely rare 382 end links, Valjoux 234 caliber, P301 pushers, and first-series Triplock crown.
A truly collectible 7159 — spectacular, and made for true connoisseurs.
