This particular Blancpain Fifty Fathoms “No Radiation” issued to the Bundeswehr is a true collector’s piece, reserved for the most discerning enthusiasts. Beyond the intrinsic value of the “No Radiation” variant, finding a Fifty Fathoms officially assigned to the Bundeswehr is extremely rare—only a handful of examples have surfaced on the market complete and fully original. The watch is preserved in excellent condition: the glossy dial shows no visible flaws, the original tritium on the hands and indexes is intact, and the bezel—while showing minor signs of age—is the original one and remains in very good shape. The military engraving “BUND 6645-12-149-5xx” is clearly legible, unaltered, and fully correct. Mechanically, it is powered by an automatic movement based on the A. Schild AS 1700 caliber, running smoothly and without issues. The watch is entirely original, period-correct, and unquestionably authentic in every detail.
