This Cartier Baignoire is one of the rarest Baignoire Lady models ever produced, as it features a double godroon on the bezel and a hand-wound movement. Very few Baignoire watches were made with this particular characteristics. This Baignoire also comes with its original box, warranty, purchase receipt from the era, and booklets.
The overall condition of this Baignoire Lady reference 78290 is exceptional. This example has never been polished and has been used very sparingly. There is also a pleasant oxidation on the gold, which further enhances the warm tone of the yellow gold case. The dial is flawless, with no defects or scratches, as are the hands, cabochon, inscriptions on the case back, strap, and buckle. The movement has just been serviced by my watchmaker and works perfectly.
All components are original and correct for the production period.
