Omega Ranchero 2990-1

The Omega Ranchero ref. CK 2990-1 with caliber 267 is the sub-seconds version with the small seconds at 6 o’clock, introduced in 1958, the same year as the Speedmaster, Railmaster and Seamaster 300. It is a pure manual-wind watch with a 36 mm snap-back case stamped “WATERPROOF,” conceived as a simple, robust and highly legible tool watch. The dial is signed “30 mm” and houses Omega’s renowned 30 mm family movement, in this case the caliber 267 with small seconds. The design is clean, with well-balanced indexes and the characteristic arrow hour hand, in line with the philosophy of Omega’s late-1950s professional models. The condition of this example is very good. The dial shows an original, even patina consistent with its age, and the case retains correct proportions. The movement has been recently serviced and is running perfectly.
