Rolex Explorer II 1655 Mk5

It’s always a pleasure to come across a Rolex Explorer II Freccione in never-polished condition like this example. Most of them have been poorly polished or, even worse, restored with modern techniques. The charm of an unpolished watch, even with its normal signs of wear, remains, in my opinion, unbeatable. The overall conditions are truly exceptional. The dial is pristine without scratches or defects, with a pleasant matching patina on the indices and hands. No restorations of any kind have been performed, and the tritium reacts correctly when exposed to UV light. The bracelet, case, and bezel show signs of wear; however, the watch is undoubtedly untouched. The bezel and case have never been polished, and the bracelet is not loose. The movement has just been serviced by my watchmaker and functions perfectly. All components are original and correct for the year of production : Mk5 dial, Mk4 bezel, 1570 caliber, non-date-marked case back stamped 1655, 78360/580/H bracelet, Twin Lock crown.
